Assume Breach: from Security to Resilience

In cyber security, we (too) often talk about preventive measures to prevent incidents. In today’s world, malicious actors have high-end technological capabilities as well as motivation and man-power to successfully hack anyone and anything. While preventive measures are still important, we need to shift from security to resilience. Assume that you’ve already been breached (assume breach principle) and think about what you have in place to handle the incident and minimize the impact on your most valuable assets and processes.
