NIS 2 Deployment at the Belgian Federal Entities, “Compliance through security, not security through compliance”.

NIS 2 has been transcribed into Belgian Law. It takes effect on October 18th 2024 and will force businesses, government entities and other sectors to setup security to the minimum required levels. To address the requirements for security at government level, Belgian federal Entities have started to deploy focusing on people, processes and technology. The presentation will shed light on the approach, practical steps taken and the planning for the conformity on the basis of “Compliance through security, not security through compliance”.
